Harmony Day is celebrated nationally 21 March each year and is a day of cultural respect. This year Griffith celebrated Harmony Week from 17 – 21 March. At Griffith everyone belongs. We had a small market, some live shows and interesting games on campus.
We hope everyone can enjoy themselves. At the Gold Coast you could enjoy the lovely weather, free food from GCAP and temporary tattoos, etc. At the Nathan campus students and staff participated in GUMURRII Harmony Handprints, the Washing Line of Words, completed a diversity quiz and were treated to orange cake and market stalls. - This guy’s name is Furry, he keep turtles, dragons, snakes and crocodiles
- This snake’s name is Black Head Python. It looks dangerous but has a good temper.

- For the turtle, he currently is 11 years old.
- However, Furry said he can lives over hundreds of years.

- Harmony Week Tshirts were available for a gold coin donation. All proceeds went to Rosie’s.
- Look at this big world map; we have students’ signatures marking their home country from all over the world. We also have penguin and polar bear’s signature on it.
- These are some of our lovely volunteers. Without their hard work the Harmony Week cannot be successful.

- Harmony Week isn’t just for students, even staff got involved! Griffith International Staff love working with students from all over the world.
