    Today is the day. The day that I throw away the sugar, start eating healthy and conquer the challenge – 10,000 steps a day. Yep. You heard right. Ten thousand. It sounds easy right? I thought so too… when I signed up back in March.  But when you work in an office job, and don’t really frequent the gym, you suddenly realise that actually –  it’s not that easy. Let me give you some background.

    Griffith International is taking part in the Global Corporate Challenge or the “GCC”. When the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Engagement) sent an email encouraging us all to get involved, we were excited to form our teams of 7! It even got competitive… Teams filled up faster than my water tank in a summer storm, and before we knew it our department alone had 16 teams (Griffith has nearly 100 in total!). We picked our team names (I’m repping for the Walkie Talkies) and I even took the time to design us a mascot. Okay maybe I got a little bit carried away, but I’m pretty proud of Wally, especially his itty bitty sneakers…
